BE A MAJOR FOR A DAY

We offer prospective students an opportunity to experience our programs up close and in person by being a 音乐, 剧院 or 跳舞 Major for a Day!

You are invited to come visit campus and get a feel for what it is like to be a music, theatre or dance major. Your visit will consist of some of the following: attend and participate in classes, meet with faculty and students, observe a masterclass, rehearse with one of our large ensembles, attend a performance, and when possible, have a mini-private lesson with one of our outstanding faculty.

We have remarkable students and a stellar faculty and would love for you to experience Oakland University's School of 音乐, 剧院 和舞蹈.

DUE TO OVERWHELMING DEMAND, WE MAY BE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE ALL REQUESTS BEFORE THE END OF OU's WINTER SEMESTER (the last day for Major for a Day visits this semester is April 9, 2024). WE WILL BE PRIORITIZING REQUESTS FROM HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AND TRANSFERS. If you are a high school junior and you do not get scheduled, you will be put on a priority list for fall).
